Fall in our town
A few shots from the beautiful town where we live. It’s so pretty in the fall!

Have you ever lost your motivation? I haven’t been posting or really taking many pictures lately, but today I decided to get out and shoot some images. It’s a rainy morning, but I decided to venture out and look around for something to catch my eye. Rain drops can be so interesting and pretty, especially when they reflect something. I was happy looking around for small droplets on my plants to focus on. Below are some fall-blooming daisies covered in rain drops. These are exactly as I found them in my garden. I hope you enjoy them!
A shot of a path at our local beach, which as always, is one of my favorite subjects. There are an infinite number of different and interesting shots to take at the beach!
An interesting tree all alone on a local beach.
Yesterday I took a few shots of the beach grass growing at our local beach. I used camera movement to achieve the different effects, which I like because the images feel soft. The plain grass didn’t look that interesting to me, but this technique adds some movement and dimension to these images. What do you think?
The weather was freezing but the sunset was beautiful the other night at our local beach. There was icy foam at the water’s edge which reflected the warm colors of the sun low in the sky. I could watch the sun set at the beach every evening and never get tired of it!
A few shots of our frozen beach. Instead of foam and the edge of the water, there is chunky ice. My fingers felt like they were getting frost bite while I was taking these shots! Even the dogs that normally roam the beach in the winter weren’t out because it’s so cold. Brrr!
We have had some extreme temperature changes this week, and with the warm temperatures this morning, we had crazy thick fog. I headed out early to get some shots of the fog around town. It was also really windy, causing waves at the beach that were pretty big for our normally flat sound. Back to freezing tonight and maybe more fog once it warms up again in a few days!
A few shots from this beautiful, sunny, icy winter day! 🙂
I just had to post some pictures of the beautiful snowfall this morning. I know I’ll be really sick of snowy pictures before long, but since this is our first real snowfall, I felt the urge to take some pictures of the trees in my yard.
